Yamile Kalkach is an associate attorney representing the Firm’s institutional and individual clients in securities, corporate governance, antitrust, and employment matters on both individual and class bases. She earned her bachelor’s degree in law at Universidad Panamericana in Mexico City and her Master of Laws at Fordham University School of Law, where she was the LL.M. representative of the Latin American Law Students Association.
Before joining HRS&C, Ms. Kalkach worked in the Labor and Employment department at Von Wobeser y Sierra, S.C., one of Mexico’s top-ranked law firms. In 2018, she joined the NORMES department in the International Labour Organization in Geneva, Switzerland, where she became the president of the Intern Board and represented her peers before the Trade Union and Human Rights Department. Ms. Kalkach has also served as an external advisor for a Mexican Confederation of Unions.
Currently, Ms. Kalkach is the Co-Chair of the Hispanic National Bar Association Young Lawyers Division for Region II – New York and a member of the Inter-American Affairs Committee of the New York City Bar Association. Ms. Kalkach is admitted to practice law in New York State, the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, and Mexico.
